I look more rad than Lutheranism

Well, hopefully there won't be a next time, but you could watch this series first and bring a few tuning forks.

You are dirtier than I am.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

We found out today that a new volunteer at work, a 29 year old man, committed suicide a couple of weeks ago. We only discovered it when our volunteer coordinator tried to reach him to cancel one of his sessions. When she couldn't, she googled his name and found his obituary. She was beside herself, and I didn't even know the guy but couldn't even open my mouth to say how sad or I'm sorry because if I did I would have started bawling. His poor family.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Very sad, J.

I have successfully given blood! So satisfying.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Julie, that's really sad and disturbing.

Having talked today about maybe not needing to be friends with racists while trying to overlook or explain away their racism anymore, it became more practical than theoretical almost immediately, as one of my college boyfriends posted a snarling racist rant on FB. I started to engage, and then pulled back. I'm just surprised and upset. This guy was such an anti-establishment don't-trust-the-man power-to-the-people fantasy geek! What happened? He's always really liked guns, but I never knew he felt this way. He recently said something really hateful and insensitive about rape, too, and now I'm thinking about whether I want to keep seeing him pop up in my FB. And whether unFriending him is worth the fallout from mutual friends. Ugh.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

You can just hide him if you want to avoid dealing. That's what I did with a friend's husband, and it's worked out great!

Don't recall whipped cream or meringue, just Nilla wafers.

This all comes from having bought a box of Nilla wafers for a recipe that used like 4.

My work day was so annoying! At least it is over.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

That would work, but I don't see an option to just hide him.

You can "block" someone and then you just don't see their posts. I think? I think that's what I've done with my more irritating acquaintances from high school.

Btw, I am successfully having a glass of wine. Delish.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l
