Timelies all!
Another busy day. We took the train to Bletchley Park and spent a good part of the afternoon walking around and looking at the displays. Other than my multimedia guide running out of power a half hour in, and my lower back not being happy with all the standing/ walking, it was good.
After we got back to London, we walked around and looked at various of the book benches, with a stop at Waterstones for British mysteries.
Hey, Maryland peeps, my BiL and nephew are out there right now! I'd tell you to wave if you seem them but don't know if I could describe them in any recognizable way. If you see anyone who looks like they just got there from Portland, OR, maybe, wave? Nephew is starting his junior year at St. John's in Annapolis after being at the NM campus the past two years
Looks like I'll be at my Aunt's for the weekend and into the week, which should be a nice break.
My Internet isn't working but I can't go anywhere it IS working because they are sending someone to fix it....sometime between 9AM and 8PM. Well, noon and 8 now, since no one has come. Makes working from home difficult (I can tether to my phone but it's not fun)
Happy things? DragonCon is coming up really soon and that means Dana and I will be stalking people like Amy Acker, Karl Urban, and Manu Bennett.
Oy, meara, what a pain!
Today's salad did not freeze, hooray! And I remembered my book. Much more successful lunch than yesterday, although my to do list tells me I was supposed to go out to lunch today (it's on there as a recurring event because I feel bad for not patronizing the local restaurants I like so much).
Go away yellowjacket! The perils of being on my laptop in the backyard. I am working on a WordPress lesson, at least. Maybe I should take a break and look up how to drive away wasps.
Update: interesting suggestion: hang up a crumpled brown paper bag, which wasps mistake for other wasp nests. So ridiculous I think I have to give it a try. Also, I have paper bags handy.

What's supposed to happen then?
