tommy, sorry for how hard things have been for you lately.
Things have been fucked up for a long time here.
I've wondered. Police don't get up one morning and say, lookit all this riot gear, let's institute martial law! Seems like something bad had to be going on for a while to come to a head like this.
Clay [the governor] said that he has been urging U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder to “take over the entire situation because we will not get justice for Michael Brown and his family and friends if the St. Louis County police and prosecutor have a say.”
That's worth a couple of Whoas.
Today for lunch I'm gong to ignore my diet and get strawberry waffles at Walker Bros. Original Pancake House for lunch. (I have off tomorrow so today is like Friday to me.)
Good plan, tommy. I'm sorry that you are going through so much right now.
I approve of this lunch plan.
Tommy, that's a lot to deal with. I totally condone the ignoration of the diet in the short term.
I'm so sorry, tommy. That's a brutal lot of emotional weight to carry at once. Strawberry waffles sounds like a perfectly reasonable response.
I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow, I expect the various tests will show I've been ignoring anything good I should be doing. I plan to say, "The last three months don't count, let's reconvene this discussion in November."
I so hope I don't have to tell them the news, they were his doctors too, I'm hoping word has spread. I'm tired of telling people who don't know.
tommy, that's so much to deal with. I'm sorry all of the shit seems to hit the fan at once.
