Local news has started being more and more openly critical of the Ferguson police. It's looking like martial law out there (edit: in Ferguson, not STL in general). There's a lot of hope that the gov will intervene.
I hate this. Things have been fucked up for a long time here.

Hec just posted this to FB: St. Louis County Police to Be Removed From Ferguson: Clay - Bloomberg
This was done on the governor's orders.
eta:
Clay [the governor] said that he has been urging U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder to “take over the entire situation because we will not get justice for Michael Brown and his family and friends if the St. Louis County police and prosecutor have a say.”
Wow.
Thanks for the link, Tommy.
Also, much ~ma and peace to you right now.

tommy, sorry for how hard things have been for you lately.

I've wondered. Police don't get up one morning and say, lookit all this riot gear, let's institute martial law! Seems like something bad had to be going on for a while to come to a head like this.

That's worth a couple of Whoas.
Today for lunch I'm gong to ignore my diet and get strawberry waffles at Walker Bros. Original Pancake House for lunch. (I have off tomorrow so today is like Friday to me.)
Good plan, tommy. I'm sorry that you are going through so much right now.
