Celery adds a nice bit of crunch to salads, if you don't want to do anything cooking intensive with it. Or maybe save it and mix with some chopped onions at a later date to season roasted meat?

I want to be -t so I have premade lunches all week, but no. I can only be arsed to make the food the day I eat it.
I picked out about a box of books to donate from my own stuff, yay me! Oh, speaking of books, Plei, I have a perfume book that really should belong to someone who loves the stuff. It's yours if you want it.
Why do I always forget that extreme stress can be physically and emotionally debilitating?
I always repress that fact. I think I've been trying to function under so much stress for so long that I don't want to know what kind of toll it might be taking on my body.
I love chopped celery (among other things) in salads. Once a week, I clean and measure greens into individual bags. Then I chop up a combination of carrots, celery, radishes and green onions and save. So making salads during the week: dump greens into bowl. Add handful of stored "fixins". Add dress spices and already cooked chopped chicken breast. Toss. Celery is also great in in casseroles and soups. Haven't ever frozen any but suspect it would freeze well.
I do not need to eat these cookies I just baked.
I will, though.
MMMMMMmmm.... cookies. I make make some of these so I don't have to turn the oven on and so I will have some for later. [link] I made them a week ago and they were okay, but not great. The problem was that I used whole flax seeds so the texture was not great.
Did a little more lying in the hammock and a little yard work, and a little visiting with neighbors, so that was nice. Family friends invited us over for dinner, which is nice, but I don't actually want to go! Ah well.
Everyone wants to be wanted, even if going seems too hard (as it would to me, because I am lazy).
Grace is at her lego robotics team.
I want a Lego robotics team. I didn't get that until I was 16.
Lego league is the best.
I, for some reason, assume that celery will not freeze well. Haven't tried it, but in my imagination the high water content will make frozen celery mushy rather than crisp. Which is fine if they are already cooked, or going to be cooked.
Anyway, made 8 jars of salad and used up all my celery and lettuce (and carrots, but I didn't have near as much of that hanging over me). Then I went back to Trader Joe's (kicking myself the whole time for not even looking at my shopping list yesterday) to get what I need for breakfast custards and impulse bought rather a lot. Not perishable stuff, though, so it can just sit in the cupboard until I feel like eating it.
