I don't know about you guys, but I've had it with super-strong little women who aren't me.

Count Chocula: also, I find it hilarious that the Victorian Trading Co. is now carrying jewelry by the ultimate purveyors of delightfully cliched gothy bling, Alchemy Gothic.

Yeah, these catalogs are always so damned expensive. I wonder who buys this stuff at full price.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Just FYI, there is a Victorian Trading Co. outlet store in KC, and I would be happy to go in and take pics, or look for items people express an interest in.

Profile addy is good for lists of requests!

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

Bumped into my my not-ex-enough-neighbors as they were loading up another truckful of furniture. N asked if I was having any problems with the landlady, that she hadn't shut off my water or sewage or electricity. No, of course not, why would I? Oh, because I refused to vacate the apartment with the FD strongly urged I do so back when the tree fell on not-ex-enough-neighbors house.

WhyTF would the landlady give a crap about that? She wouldn't, plain and simple. The more important question is why he's so much of an asshole to even concoct such a ridiculous situation to query me about. Even if there was some situation, right now I'm her only rent, and she wouldn't jeopardize that.

Please, finish moving quickly and never bother me again. I'm starting to fear that even when they finishing moving completely, they'll find ways to torment me.

GISHWHES is over - so here is my take on sucking blood from a doughnut. I tried to channel Jilli as much as I could.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Five years I've lived here and I've never been to the local Farmer's Market before. My sis and I went this morning. It's lovely. Not too big, there are about five short rows of stalls. I bought raw milk cheese and olive oil soap and brown sugar body scrub, and promised the local honey I would be back for it. Then we sat on a stone wall and watched people walk by with their doggies while we ate homemade biscuits with country ham. It was a good morning. I also learned there's another Farmer's Market in a local park on Wednesday evenings. So that's good; I'll go there too.

Then I went back to my sister's house to help her move a couple pieces of furniture. We spent an hour talking about things she wants to do in the house. I was drenched sweating, and she was all, what's wrong with you? What's wrong, madwoman, is that it's hotter and probably more humid inside your house than outside! Turn on the A/C! It was almost 80 degrees in there. She likes it that way. I keep my house about 68 degrees. No wonder she's always climbing under a quilt when she comes to visit me!
