Well, you'd better not be thinking what I think you're thinking, because my answer is the same as always — no threesomes unless it's boy-boy-girl. Or Charlize Theron.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I read it as "I hope she's out of the hospital soon"

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Bad call, Disney.

Oh hell no. Do not like.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Heading off to the wilds of New Jersey for Contata today. Now I'm starting to feel nervous about being Listener Guest, as I've never done that before.(not to mention speaking in public, which I rarely do)

Our wings are not tired.

May the fun overwhelm the nervousness, Sheryl.

Bad call, Disney.

A world of not right.

not your mom's socks.

Have a great time, Sheryl! You will be wonderful.

Congratulations, Steph - that's excellent news.

Congratulations Dr. Otter!

Sarameg - are you still getting hit by the hellcold? I am starting to feel better, finally.

Smonster and Allyson, all the ~ma to your people.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

My mother's going out of town tomorrow, so I'm on my own to go see my father, and I just found out I can take the commuter rail instead of the bus! It's a million times faster and only a little more expensive! OK, 20 vs. 50 minutes, and $5.50 vs. essentially free (I have a monthly pass) but I do believe my time is worth $11/hour. The train doesn't run that often, but I'm sure I can make it work on the way there.

Art Crawl!!!

Congrats Tep & Dr. Otter.

Good healthma to Allyson and Smonter's people.

I am the only person in my office today.

Why in the world do we even bother?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Another Jimmy Kimmel short: Celebrities reading mean tweets. It was interesting talking to Colin yesterday about how much he wants to avoid things like this, because his skin isn't thick enough. Don Rickles? I think he's got the skin, and that's not a looks joke. I also cheered Sofia Vergara for the first time ever (having heard what they put her through to make her la Latina Suprema, I also try and not believe anything I see of her). Kit Harrington--that was the meanest one, and Blaine's was the truest one. Also, Cheadle's was the worst. LIAR. If this is #7, I guess I'll watch at least 6 more before I call my mother to tell her happy birthday and the picture I drew for her is ugly (*****JULY 20TH ALERT*****--please take all appropriate actions.)

And there's one tweet there that more than one Buffista will agree with right off the bat. I was even thinking it last week, but her comeback is the meanest (deserved?).

BY THE WAY. I'm doing a personal project of a series of interviews on fandom and people's lives for a fandom blog I started on Kinja/IO9. They are going to range in scope, but I have an hour with Colin to transcribe, some questions off with Tim, assent from Allyson and Kristen, and am looking for people all over the map that would grab IO9 attention one way or another. If you want to see a sample (9 painstaking minutes) with Colin, it's here: [link] If b,orgers are interested I can link to the instalments. And, oh, and! If you know of anyone I can question (F2F is best, despite the transcription issues (I thought I could type fast)) but I can also send a list of questions if I can do enough research beforehand to make them relevant.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Called the doctors office cause the pain and spasms are just still too much. Waiting for the nurse to talk to the doc and call me back. Meanwhile, arrrrggggggg.

So having K-Bug live here is going to be interesting. We are sectioning off a corner of the living room for her sleeping space and stuff but it doesn't provide real privacy. Still no real explanation from KCD or B. She has one more year of school to get through and any job she finds will not give full time hours, so her ability to live on her own is not likely to happen until after she finishes.
