You guys, I want to eat the same thing for lunch every day. Is that OK?

Depends. Is that thing ice cream?

My throat still hurts like the dickens. Even though I've been on antibiotics for almost 2 days. It's been hurting since Friday or so. I hate this.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I am sorry about your throat, mears, but I read this

My throat still hurts like the dickens

As My throat still hurts like chickens! And it was amusing to me.

I had to stop taking lunch because my mother was very concerned about refrigeration/food poisoning issues, so not only was the only kind of sandwich I was allowed peanut butter, she froze my Hi-C drink in some sort of tupperware container to keep everything (which was basically a peanut butter sandwich with no jelly and possibly applesauce or canned pears) cold. And it would melt and leave little Hi-C drops on the bread somehow, even though they were in separate tupperware containers.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I had a sandwich, a piece of fruit, a bag of chips, and cookies for lunch pretty much every day in high school. I would probably be perfectly happy eating that every day now, except it doesn't fit my current diet.

Scrappy's standard dinner sounds fantastic, btw.

I have started eating this chia seed custard concoction as my daily breakfast and it seems to be working out okay so far. I can make 8 servings at a time, which helps, but if I run out and find it difficult to make myself make another batch, well, historically that's when I run into trouble with these plans.

Sorry about the throat, meara. Chloraseptic?

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Most bizzare dream last night. I got engaged to a guy I know from the dojo. He gave me a huge solitare diamond ring, set in yellow gold. I remember being very upset in the dream that he gave me a gold ring. If he knew me, he would know that I prefer silver or white gold.

Now, I have never had romantic thoughts about this guy in real life. He tends to be surrounded by train wreaks and he just got married. In the dream, I was aware that he was "supposedly" married, but I was more concerned about the ring being yellow gold.

WTF!!! I'm happily single and even if I had a guy, not sure if I want to get married again. If I did, I would want a non-classic ring, if we even did rings. And this guy...oh, heck no.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I think the dream is reminding you that you don't want to get married, Suzi.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

My mother cooked a great deal of variety growing up, but when I was left to my own devices it was repetitive and never healthy. Now that I'm grown, it's a battle between the two.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Since I'm home most of the time now, I'm getting more variety in my meals, because it's something to do. When I was working I'd make something (soup, chili, lasagna, etc.) that I could take for lunch all week.

Today's lunch is zucchini frittata, part 2 of 4. Tomorrow we are doing a salad bar potluck for our department meeting, so I've got lunches for the week covered.

Art Crawl!!!

Baby rock hyraxes. So cute.

Plus, the story about the five capybaras born in Berlin makes me wonder if eohippus had multiple births rather than singletons. (Because I think that the representations of early horses look alot like capybaras.)
