Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Has there been a specific incident at your place of work, Hil, that would garner that particular kind of request?

Nothing that I know of. I mean, there's a preacher who's always standing outside one of the buildings telling everyone that they're going to hell, but he's been there for about 30 years.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

MAybe it's like my last job before we separated from ING with the posters encouraging people to come out of the closet. Step 2: Address issues raised by de-closeting.

Man, I told some recruiter we'd talk this afternoon, and I feel chained to the house. I wanted to go look up Gustav Dore either in the bookstore or the library.

Here's some Dore while you wait, ita. [link]

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

I started feeling shaky(literally) after finishing my session on the treadmill. Dunno why. I ate some almonds, maybe that will help.

Our wings are not tired.

Whom do you think will be elected POTUS first, an Atheist or a gay person?

I've wondered that myself. But separately, to get to Hil's initial post, I have finally learned the importance of listening to someone's concerns (and validate them) without trying to add my own concern in. It's one of the the things I've learned from people I follow on Twitter.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Whom do you think will be elected POTUS first, an Atheist or a gay person?

Gay. I have no evidence, but given how strongly faith pervades Presidential campaigns, I doubt an avowed Atheist would get much traction.

Our wings are not tired.

That's what I've always thought, Juliana.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Wow. I once gave a presentation in a mathematics class on topology, which include a largely failed attempt to fold a doughnut. This would have come in handy.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I agree with that, but it'll be a long time for either, I'm sure. (Of course, who knows what "a long time" is! I would not have thought we'd have a black president yet, either...)

Our wings are not tired.

Jesse, right? Also I totally thought the first Black president would be a Republican (Powell or Rice) because enough Dems would cross over to make history. I was wrong wrong wrong.
