Hey, Doc Otter! Yay!
lisah! When you thought you were going to need to reglaze your new-to-you-tub, did you have a goto outfit?
Congrats, Steph!
Congrats Doc Otter and Steph!
And in other news, drat! I found a typo on the version of the resume I've sent to several jobs in the past couple of days.
Phew! It was just on my LinkedIn profile (which I'd thought I'd built by cut and pasting resume info, but I guess not entirely). Anyway, that hasn't seen much traffic yet, so I guess it's less of an "argh" situation than I'd thought.
Yay good news! Congrats Doc Otter and Steph!
Congrats Tep and Dr. Otter!
Glad to hear that it wasn't as bad as you thought, Calli.
I'm getting amused at couponing facebook groups this week. There are about 15 different ways to get free (or better than free) Dial body wash right now. People on couponing groups generally post pictures of all the stuff they bought, and then list how much each thing cost, what coupons and deals were used, final cost, rebates, and so on. I just scrolled through about 20 pictures that all had at least 10 bottles of body wash, and then maybe a bit of food, too. (I don't even use the stuff, but with the combinations of coupons and store deals I have, I can essentially end up about $5 richer than I started after buying a bunch of it, so I'm getting it and donating it.)
This morning, I had an anxiety dream about my new job. Then I got a call from the company I interviewed with in December. They're the ones who didn't respond to my follow-up email until April or May. This woman had been given my name by the person I originally interviewed with, and they had another position, and did I have time to talk?
I said, "Sorry, I'm starting a new job on Monday." I did not say, "Maybe if you'd called sooner than six months later, I would have been available."
