My first visit with the new therapist went well. She seems to have the right mix of engagement and objectivity that I need. She has a nice firm handshake, and she seems smart. I see her again next Friday. She is familiar with my previous psychiatrist, and agreed that maybe I should go back to him and go back on that med that worked for me before. So I'll give him another try.

Zoe Archer's historicals are a lot of fun (and not Regency) -- Wicked Temptation is the new one. Karen Ranney's Scottish historicals are great, and I think she has a new one out.
Donna Kauffman writes smart, funny, sexy contemporaries -- Half Moon Harbor is the newest. Christie Ridgway also writes lighter contemporaries.
Shiloh Walker writes contemporaries with an edge of suspense, and they're meatier than a lot of other books -- much more novel than simply romance. The newest there is Deeper Than Need, I think.
