I made guacamole this morning! Apparently the secret ingredient is garlic. And I should have tasted before I added salt, because I don't think it needs it. I was going to do enchiladas, but it was too fucking hot for the oven, so I'll have to think of another way to eat my new guacamole. So very first world problem.

I like the guy I share the Sunday shift with. He's the one who wished me Happy Grown Up Female Day on Mother's Day. I talked about my Vegas trip and said this was one particular anniversary I didn't want to be around for, and all he said was "I can understand that." Simple acknowledgement that this is a tough time of year for me is very soothing.

Well, finally had to unfollow someone for posting marriage-equality-will-destroy-America BS. Took a good few days though, which seems like a triumph.
Also found out that Bobby Jindal went to my brother's high school and graduated two years after me. People younger than me running for President, that can't be right.
