The nearest big Pride event here (in Memphis) is going to be in late September. It's a mix of good and bad; we'll miss the zeitgeist of marriage just having been legalized, but we'll also miss the worst of the summer heat. (I suspect the latter was a factor in scheduling it so far from the Stonewall anniversary.)

I haven't been to a Pride parade in a while. I'm kind of surprised at how much pot I smell. But I'm not surprised that Fabulousity levels are off the chart.
