Look, you got a little stabbed the other day. That's bound to make anyone a mite ornery.

Punishingly Intricate

Rock the interview, ita!!

I'd be really interested to hear about the BA test. We're having a hard time finding good people for BA positions now. I can't figure out how you'd test someone for good BA skills.

I'm having to go back to work after a week away with no recovery day from vacation. blurgh. I hope I remember how to do my job! And I have no phone right now. It died for good, I'm pretty sure, on vacation and I should have ordered a new one while I was away but didn't want to deal. boo.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Good luck with the test, ita! Good luck getting back into the swing of working, lisah!

I feel pretty rested, but I did wake up too early, look at my watch and think "4:04, sleep not found"

Mmm, sweet corn.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

lol

Although I was regretting it at 3 o'clock this morning, I got back to sleep after a couple hours and now I feel unusually good today (which I believe for most people would be described as "normal") so maybe finishing that bottle of hard cider last night was an okay idea. Maybe the anti-D is kicking in.

Oh, hey, my office is updating Windows soon! To Windows 7. We've been running Windows XP all this time. I love my company.

Well, no one can accuse your office of being hasty.

I am living in dread of the day I get the current Windows upgrade. Stupid change!

Meanwhile, our database hasn't had a GUI update in what seems like decades. Although I believe it works better than it used to....

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Our accounting system is down for a major upgrade. Isn't due back until August 5th. We just recently upgraded everyone to Office 2013 with Windows 7. Not too bad.

Started the Gabropentin last night. I had a hard time waking up. Will have to monitor to see if it is the drug or just the love of my bed.

OMG, I am in the awful position of HAAAAATING our work database/software, which is ancient and has to be run through an emulator and is awful to work with and so user-unfriendly....but I also really don't want to have to learn the new version that they are slowly rolling out, because I've not used it before and don't know all the tricks and twists (because it's apparently better, but not awesome, so there are tricks and twists). Oh, change. Why so hard?
