You do well to flee, townspeople! I will pillage your lands and dwellings! I will burn your crops and make merry sport with your more attractive daughters! Ha ha ha! Mark my words! Ooh! Ale! I smell delicious ale!

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I just use garlic salt on the general principle that it will make anything I season with it better. Well, maybe not sweet corn or tomatoes, but most everything else saltable.

I melted butter with fresh basil tonight and had it on sweet corn. NOM.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I melted butter with fresh basil tonight and had it on sweet corn. NOM.

Did my sweet corn Mexican style with butter, lime and salt. NOM indeed.

Before things broke down with KCD and B, B gave CJ a grill. One of his birthday presents was a bunch of grill accessories and a big tank of propane, so he has been having fun grilling dinner lately. Tonight was carne asade which got made into burritos. Nom!!! Next up will be a tri-tip.

We shopped all the things but got little to no cleaning done this weekend. I do my best cleaning when no one else is home and that hasn't happened much lately. The place isn't a disaster, but it isn't where I'd like it either.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I forgot to study for my interview tomorrow. I will have to set up the mac to read parts of the BABOK (Business Analysis Book of Knowledge) to me as I drive.

I've thought about it a lot, but I didn't study. Bad person.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I don't like more than a hint of garlic. Overpowers all other tastes with an unpleasant one.

I am awake and wishing I hadn't finished that bottle of cider.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

(he got it second hand and stripped, sanded, and stained it at a friend's house on evenings he told her he was playing poker)

That is so sweet!

I can't wait for corn season. Last I checked, it was not here yet.

Good luck with the interview, ita!

It's definitely corn season in NC.

I don't appreciate waking to my water detector in the basement losing its mind. OTOH, there was no flooding, just a dying detector.

Annoying, Sarah.

Good luck, ita!

So I slept like a champion while I was sick. I suppose the virus had something to do with that. But last night being my first night sleep before work? Total wreck. Woke up at 2:30, didn't get back to sleep until 5. Then woken up by Oz at 6.
