Most people is pretty quiet right about now. Me, I see a stiff -- one I didn't have to kill myself -- I just get, the urge to, you know, do stuff. Like work out, run around, maybe get some trim if there's a willin' woman about... not that I get flush from corpses or anything. I ain't crazy.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

And one pint of ice cream later, I think it is cool enough to try to go to sleep. Hooray!

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Ice cream helps things. Hopefully it will have helped my chord progression problem when I walk back over to the studio now,

I need to just bail fb I think. I should at least just step away for a while, it is not good for me.

Although I must also say that watching my libertarian, small c conservative husband tear someone a new one over their insanely racist posts (black people in the sixties used to be quiet, decent, church going folk until the progressives used their social engineering to turn the, into the welfare class, dontcha know) is deeply satisfying. She was all, you're clearly a liberal, and he was, yeah no.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

The FB algorithm seems to be working for me. Or maybe it's because I stopped accepting friend requests from high school people I only kinda knew.

Yeah, I need to do another cull I think.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I go to FB to see what my sister and niece are up to and to leave Happy Birthday messages now and then. While my sis and niece are conservative, they aren't prompting me to mutter "momma didn't raise us to be racists, damnit" conservatives, and most of what they're posting involves wrapping up the teaching year and hanging out on the BiL's boat. So instead of rage I just have to deal with a bit of envy.

Typo, I'm looking forward to your book!

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Good luck, Sue!

I've culled almost all of the people on my FB feed who will post their own rage-inducing stupidity, but I also have a lot of very intelligent friends who don't mind debating with other (wrong-headed) people, so I still occasionally get some rage by-product. Eh.

It's pretty sad that my reaction to the Andy Benoit tweet story is "An apology that's actually an apology! Score"

Librarian Warlord

Good luck, Sue!

At the moment, I go straight for the group my dog's litter has, because we are planning their birthday party, and skip the rest.
