Debit card/Starbucks account was compromised. $100 appears on Starbucks card, Starbucks refunds to my bank account, reissues a new Starbucks card for me. Credit Union less than helpful. 5-7 business days for a card, or I can pay $40 to get one in 3-5. I am going on a desperately needed vacation on Thursday. I want access to my money while I'm gone. No, sonny, talk to your supervisor and get that fee waived. I've been a customer for 21 years. Amex will get me a replacement card in 24-48 hours. I thought CUs were supposed to be the good guys...

I have not been motivated to do anything all week, not even walk. Work has been a pain, and when I get done I just want to be a vegetable. It doesn't help that my trainer is on vacation--no impetus to get out of the house.

Schadenfreude: Bristol Palin is pregnant again, and "disappointed" about it. Normally, this would not bother me, but the existence of the Palin family in the public eye, preaching about what is right and what is wrong sticks in my craw.
She cancelled her wedding a week before it was to happen, and she hasn't come out to say if her ex-fiance is the father. What goes around comes around. Don't put yourself out there as a paragon of virtue and the arbiter of family values when you're just as dirty as the rest of us.
