Haaaa so I guess we're tentatively scheduling my start date for July 6th although I'll be doing 50/50 work while we get someone in for my position and I train in the new position. So I'll probably be out in SF in July looking for a place to live, and actual moving may be Aug/Sept.
So you should TOTALLY come out the week that includes the 14th, because I will be there.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration
So, I was trying to keep my heart rate in the 50-60% of "max" zone and found that I could do that by sitting up straight rather than leaning back on the couch.
I suspect that is not good.

Oh, man. I will welcome all help with apartment hunting! I've been narrowing down options based on rent and reviews, but having people on the ground to assist is invaluable. Surely some landlord wants a thirtysomething long-time tech lady employee with no pets, right?!
Edit: Also, I was drinking wine and hanging out with senior leadership of the org I'm leaving because why not, I'm outta here soon, let's develop relationshippppps.
Note I've only had 3 glasses of wine in 6 hours, but I blame stormy weather for the brain pain.
