Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

That is my favorite dress- it is practically all I wear, and it can be dressed up or down really well.

Thanks, y'all. It's my nephew's wedding, and I'd like my sister to be happy (the nephew couldn't care less what I wear, I'm sure). The bridesmaids will be in purple. I'm looking forward to the whole shindig.

Land's End fit and flare dresses are great; they look good on just about everybody.

I have done just about everything I wanted to, today. I lazed around all morning after banana pecan pancakes until my conscience said get the fuck out of the comfy chair. So, I did. I stopped at Christopher & Banks to try to find some capris I liked, but they only had the classic fit which is way to tight in the thighs for me and then a two inch (or more) gap in the waist. Sigh. I should know better. I still walked away with two cute tops, with a skirt and a shrug on order from their online store. That led to the comic shop to pick up pulls and return a Buffy toy that wasn't what I expected. Traded a Willow in for Vampire Buffy, so I'm happy. It will go with the rest of my fandom stuff on display at work. From there, finally got the battery in my watch replaced, only now I have to wear it on the wrong wrist, because my Fitbit is where I'd usually put the watch. It feels wrong. And then I hit up Charming Charlies to replenish my stash of cute, but extremely cheap earrings, plus a couple of sunhats for lunchtime walks at work. Also picked up way too much candy at a kiosk touting "Fine European and Continental Confectionaries". Basically, all Haribo soft candies (Swedish fish, gummy bears, etc.) Still ended up with a pounds worth, though. Then, I called it quits. I was going to do grocery shopping, but me feet hurt and I was tired of dodging rainstorms between stores. I am now listening to the dishwasher and thinking after I eat some leftover spaghetti I will get up and make some cobbler to use up the nectarines that are going to rot if I don't do something with them quick.

I'm sitting in front of our air conditioning. We just got back from a birthday party for one of Noah and Grace's friends.

We were offered jell-o shots at the party. ?! was my response.

Yeah, that seems like more of a snack for adults at a toddler party.

Sophia, not Calli, but [link]

I think my internal metronome is off today. Seriously slow swim, like haven't been that slow since I was recovering from the stomach flu slow. But same # of strokes per lap. Ugh. Which probably means soreness tomorrow, because when I swim like that, it hurts later.

And now I will clean, which will produce a different kind of soreness. Sigh.

Meatloaf assembled and becoming one with itself in the fridge for an hour or so. Back under the ceiling fan, deciding between eBay pictures or blocking the shawl I just finished knitting. I think eBay pictures, it involves less moving around and frustration.

Supposed to hit 100 tomorrow. I would die if standard humidity in summer got over 25%.

Nebraska is the color of lima beans. And tears.

(Sorry, Nebraska, that's the opinion of Kids Next Door, not me, I thought you were kind of pretty.)

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Picked up my bib and t-shirt and tote bag and swung by my parents' since I was already on their side of the straits and my dad is leaving to go backpacking with the geezers tomorrow. Making vague plans for us all to go backpacking next year.

Need to be parked for the race by 7:30 tomorrow morning, which means leaving the house by 6:30. I should probably give breakfast some thought. Sunday is usually my leisurely make an omelet day.

I decided to make a Nectarine Golden Cake with my half-assed nectarines. They were too green when my roomie bought them, so they're still tough inside, but getting mooshy on the outside. Also means not a lot of flavor, so I am overcompensating with a combo of white and raw sugar and then a little extra spice in the dough (cardamom, I love cardamom.) Forty-five minutes and I will have a verdict.
