A good night's sleep is not to be disparaged. Not that it solves all ills, but it makes treatment much easier. I think my treatment today may be some shopping. It's time I replaced my little netbook. It's so slow, I'm thinking of calling it Dummy and putting a dunce cap on it. Then donating it to a community college.

Natter 73: Chuck Norris only wishes he could Natter
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
I am looking at a weekend of taking care of crap around the house, getting haircuts for kids, taking franny to the orthodontist. I can already feel my I-hate-everything self trying to monkey up the works, so I guess my goal for the weekend is to not be an asshole.
Is Franny feeling better yet? Casper finally got on antibiotics yesterday, but I am not sure they have kicked in yet.
I showered AND cleaned the bathroom AND washed dishes, including the ones that used to hold moldy food in the fridge! Now the question is, I have an ancient container of crumbled feta that I never opened. It looks fine. Do you think it is fine?? Especially relevant because I was about to go to the store for about three things, including feta.
We have slept in and made tentative plans for movies at 2:30. We need to do some cleaning and go grocery shopping at some point. Not sure what we will do if Mac's friend does not respond about movie.
Local strawberry season is OVER. Sad. I did all my shopping. Need to start cleaning. Or go to pool.
I missed my chance to run & go to the farmer's market by sleeping until 8 a.m. (such decadence!), so I'm working on my portfolio & listening to all of the 80s compilations on 8-tracks [link] A shower should happen soon. Also, the cats are assholes, because once I was up, they decided M should be up, too, and meowed at him until he finally staggered out of bed. Poor thing.
If it looks and smells fine it's fine, is my take.
I've been working and now am trying to figure out what the rest of the weekend will hold.
Accomplished so far: Uh, breakfast, and two rounds of coffee. All facilitated entirely by Hec, while Matilda and I sat on our asses and filled our faceholes.
I got up, walked the cat, walked to the farmers market (tomato season has started--yay!), took out the compost and the trash, and started laundry. It's now well over 90F, hence my early burst of energy. I'm done with outside chores and fun until 6:30 or so.
