Oh, yeah, hate those.
Bummer about the greens, Jesse. Hope you find other sustenance easily.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

Popcorn.
That is the go-to!
Stanley Cup likes carrots...
This just in from a colleague:
This just happened. As I'm herding the boys through the lobby/check-in area at daycare, I see another woman walking out and the director says, "Mrs. Timmonen! Did you get to hold or kiss the cup last night? Has your husband shaved his beard yet?" As she says this, every other parent in the lobby gives themselves whiplash from turning their heads so fast. The woman - presumably Mrs. Timmonen - says, "Yes - I got to hold the cup, but I don't know if the beard is gone. He hasn't come home yet!"
Aw.
I am so tired. I want to say I don't know why, but I am pretty sure I've had my "max HR" set too high for the past several days and I just need to rest.
I am disappointed the York minis are not individually wrapped. I bought them thinking they would be a nice companion for the Kisses I keep in a bowl on my desk, but I don't know about naked chocolate sitting out like that.
brenda m: totally cool.
I know nothing of hockey, but who cares! Yay!
Ginger, did I read that right, that you still have to pay two months of that exorbitant premium even though it was wrong?
Today the carpet cleaners come to clean my previously flooded carpet, and then I will be done dealing with this and can thankfully go back to being a hermit.
Oh, Roto-Rooter called me to make sure everything went well with the installation and repair yesterday. I bit my tongue and said yes, everything's fine. The lady called me "dear" twice. "My dear", even! I am always amused by the Southern tendency to call strangers by endearments.
I think I only have to pay two months of the tax credit. The thing I unsuccessfully tried to pin down was what would it take for Kaiser to not cancel my coverage. At least one Kaiser person suggested I pay the amount of the bill, and then I would get a refund for the excess amount. I am not thrilled with this idea.
Zen, your experience makes think I may not want to hire a company that touts its "friendly" staff. Is there an option for "surly and efficient"?
