MY new cube neighbor is moving in. Mixed feelings. I'm sure he'll be fine, but new people, you know?
I am no where near as put together as -t, but then I am still in my dog walking clothes, which are accessorized by the dog in my lap.
I am in my sleep clothe, lounging cardigan, and fluffy cat ensemble. Comfy FTW. But now I have to get off the couch & do yoga, since running is clearly Not Happening this morning.
I am in sweatpants and a reasonable top. Had to clean up a bit to go next door and borrow stuff.
Sending wishes for a much better day today for the Burrell family.
Dogs are excellent accessories. And fluffy cats, well, there's no better bling especially if you are trying to take over the world.

I would argue that hairless cats are equally good bling for those who aspire to take over the world.
I'll accept that.
I posted this on facebook but just in case - the Wall Street Journal posted a video comparing American Pharoah and Secretariat's Belmont Stakes. So damn cool.
American Pharoah was a mere 2.65 seconds slower than Secretariat. Holy wow. But look at the field - there wasn't another horse anywhere near Secretariat in the last quarter. That means almost every horse on the track with Pharoah was faster than the horses that ran against Secretariat. ION, I called Frosted and Keen Ice to place and show when they were all walking onto the track. I should've bet.
I have to remember to spell American Pharoah's name correctly, which is incorrectly. It's amusing. Now everyone will be spelling Pharaoh wrong.
It makes my brain hurt a little, but I'm getting used to it (the spelling).
Other department still has not acknowledged that my instructions were correct, but we have a fix in place to avoid the problem in the future (said fix being that I get rid of all extraneous information so they can't possibly be confused, so I guess that's tacitly saying that I know what I'm doing, sigh)
