Good job, Sail! And don't worry if it gets worse before it gets better. I figure a new job takes three months, anyway, to even figure out.

Oh, yeah. Three months to discover all the basics and master them, then another three to fine tune it. First year is developing as many timesaving processes as possible, because people.
All my electronics now have orange-red tones because it's after sunset. It's weird and will take some getting used to, but since it takes little to no effort I may as well roll with it and see if it helps.
I'm having a fashion make-over for work, sort of. We have to wear our staff ID badges on lanyards around our neck, which makes it a little hard to wear pretty necklaces and stuff, so I ordered three different beaded lanyards from Amazon. Not gonna let the haters keep me from the pretty!
aaaargh! This basketball game!
Oh, yeah, I was gonna watch that.
My DH called me this afternoon to let me know my FiL had a bad trauma injury and had to be airlifted to a hospital with a trauma center. So he's there now with his dad. Good news is FiL is stable and will ultimately be fine, but he lost a finger and sounds like he may need further surgery.
Lost a finger?!? Dear goodness, what did the man do?

The news after the basketball game led with an officer-involved shooting in my neighborhood. I hope to god they didn't kill someone. It will not be pretty. (The reporter didn't have more details, because it happened about 45 minutes ago. So far the reporter said an officer did discharge his gun, and the police confirmed the shots did "take effect" [actual quote from the reporter]. I assume "take effect" means someone got shot. I really, really hope no one was killed.)
