Two months ago and you need to redo it? That's just someone being cruel, there's no legitimate reason to mistreat your employees that way. But I am perhaps less forgiving than I should be of corporate CYA training measures ever since they started insisting that I need to retake the EXACT SAME online sexual harassment training course every year. I personally consider *it* a form of sexual harassment.

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Oh and guess what time of year it is? Time to submit to the online sexual harassment of course.
That is ridiculous, msbelle. And Burrell.
Timelies all!
After last week's dip into early spring temps, summer seems to be coming on strong. And with the heat and humidity, we get thunderstorms. Whee.
Somehow I've managed not to fall asleep at my desk and I've accomplished a small handful of tasks. In an effort to, like, actually get better sleep, I'm installing screen brightness apps on my phone and tablet to add more red when it's dark outside. I'll download one for my PC as well once I get home.
Also, I may have just ordered Avengers socks on Amazon because I needed my order to be above $25 to get an add-on item.
Good call on the socks.
yep, the training added nothing for me. I added some comments. nothing I have not said before. complete waste of my time.
Relevant to the recent weather conversation. I came home today to an e-mail from Mom asking me if we got the predicted storm. I responded that I managed to step out of the car just as it began to pour buckets. She responded with a somewhat urgent, "Are you alright?" I resisted responding sarcastically.
Second day at the new job and I'm not drowning yet. Got lost in the cafeteria after getting coffee; I walked around and around it (all the modules converge around it, so there are four exit points that link to each other along the diagonal) until I finally figured out I needed to follow the signs to K module.
Good job, Sail! And don't worry if it gets worse before it gets better. I figure a new job takes three months, anyway, to even figure out.
