Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Very small! I wonder if it will be enough volume to even whip? I guess I can just try and see what happens.

Definitely depends on how much meringue you need, Jesse! But you can make SOME....egg whites whip up to a lot of volume.

The twins are four now, meara. Kindergarten starts in one year and one week! Amazing.

Wow! Seems like they were just born. Time flies around here.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

You can whip one egg white! I've done it! Though I didn't make meringue, but the theory is sound. I've made, I think, souffles?

Because books.

This made me laugh like crazy.

Me, too. It is so, so true.

Hey, Rick, do you have any good recs for books about identical twins? I would like to read up a little bit before I start the story I'm working on.

Amy, the most accessible book is Entwined Lives, by Nancy Segal. It goes more to the human interest side than the obstetric or genetic epidemiology sides where most of the literature on twins is found.

I knew if anyone here had actually done it, it would be you, -t! I have a recipe for 6 individual desserts, but the ingredients are all divisible by 3, so I just want to make two.

Thanks, Rick!

Ugh. I went home early yesterday because I was freezing and figured out that my temperature was elevated, which kinda explains why I've been feeling futless all week. I came in late today, and the only reason I didn't call in sick is because I signed up to volunteer for code.org today and didn't want to blow it off.

Okay, I confirmed that my old stylist moved to California, so I went ahead and scheduled an appointment tomorrow with one of the salon's master stylists. Because I am in dire need of a haircut.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

TJs sold at some point a watermelon-flavored beer.

21st Amendment Watermelon Wheat Beer, probably. Delicious, and I'm not a fruit (or wheat) beer drinker. edit: Though I can only really do one or two at a time. Unless I'm at the brewery. And then it's game on.

All the WTF? at Steph's neighbors, though.

Aw, kids! They look like people, but are actually mostly animals.

So true. I'm sorry Noah hurt your feelings, Kat.
