The nurses themselvesw are great. The problem is that , unlike normal nurse help lines, no access to doctors or pharmacists. Norma nurse helplines can consult with MDs or pharmas if something is beyond normal competence.

Thrive to spite them

I just argued with the same relative on FB. I really need to just either stop following him (and miss seeing pictures of his cute kids) or walk on by. But he was using a flawed study - it took like 5 seconds of googling to find out. Of course most of the sources citing it are conservative and I found the rebuttal on a LGBT site so who knows if he'll think it's worth reading.

And someone else commented about "the bipolars, full personalty disorers and partial personality disorders" I couldn't figure out if she was talking about the mental illnesses or the people so I had to comment on that. PLUS she threw out God doesn't make mistakes line which I had to point out can be really damaging to hear. Hearing that and "God doesn't give you more than you can handle" were big factors in driving me away from religion. Well that and the terrible way the churches I was raised in treated women and anyone who wasn't like them.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Take a break. Block for a few months, you won't miss out too much on the kids and you'll save yourself some stress.

TB, hope you are all right.

I'm itchy this morning and I swear I can smell soap or detergent or something. Might be related. Except the smell is none of MY soaps or detergents...

Well, I don't have a job offer yet, but I've been asked if I'm still interested in proceeding if they wanted to make one, so I guess that's good.

I slept almost all day yesterday and then couldn't get to sleep last night because of it, so now I'm exhausted. My sinuses are so achy that chewing too much is painful, but that didn't stop me from shoving hash browns and bacon in my face this morning.

Very exciting shrift--in California?

I am at a site with excruciatingly slow internet. This is going to be a problem.

Yes, it's one of the roles in Mountain View.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Woo shrift with a wonderful offer, Mountain View!

Sending good vibes, Gar. Please let us know you are okay when you get a chance!

Anyone have opinions stain colors? I'm having the porch ad deck redone, which is badly needed. But I'm kind of at a loss in figuring out what stain to go for. The house is sort of khaki? [link]

I love the look of a sort of bluish gray, but I don't know if that will work or just look old. Alternatively, a deeper color could work. But which? I am so out of my depth. Any ideas or opinions welcome.

Late to the party Brenda, but with the combo of those olive/taupe walls and cream colored trim I think I'd either try to get as close to the trim color as possible with a light semi-opaque stain or go for a dark cool brown like this espresso stain: [link]

It's weird to say that I had a good time at a visitation for my old roommate's mother last night, but I ran into a bunch of my post-college friends and caught up with them after paying my respects. I also got 35.6 miles to the gallon on the drive down and 33.8 on the trip back, so somehow my 10-year-old Chevy is getting better mileage than it did when it was new.
