$8000? Wow.
This conversation does conveniently remind me to take my Adderall!
BTW, I'm the inattentive type, Burrell, and didn't get diagnosed until my late 30s. I can only imagine what a difference it might have made if I'd known, much less gotten a prescription, while I was in school.
I got an invite for a speed networking event later this month. How quickly did I decline that? So quickly, you guys.
This made me laugh and laugh. High velocity networking decline!
High velocity networking decline!
When the answer is Do Not Want, my response is swift and merciless.
I don't know why it's extra funny to me that I had a meeting about methamphetamine this morning.
Ha. That inattentive might be why I was always getting E's for needing more effort or U's for unsatisfactory effort (despite getting A grades). Makes me wonder if I should get myself diagnosed by my shrink.
My workplace is making me all verklempt. At the staff meeting today they gave me gifts (chocolate and a lucky bamboo plant) and cheesecake. I almost hate to leave, because they really are a great group of people.
Oh yeah, inattentive, definitely. "You're so smart--your test scores are really high. You just don't try in class!"
Aw, that's so sweet, Sail. Where are you going? I vaguely remember you saying but can't remember the details.
Looking at the radar, I might not have a chance to swim tonight. Walked out the door to thunder.
-t, I'm going to the Department of Radiology at the Wisconsin Institute of Medical Research. It's part of the UW School of Medicine and Public Health.
Timelies all!
Thunderstorm here, which ended just before I left work. Dunno if there'll be another one later.
I was inattentive because I was bored. Though I was inattentive in algebra because it didn't make any sense to me.
