I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I hope that's the end of it, Steph.

Scrambled eggs for dinner, made in the sausage skillet in hopes it would accumulate the drippings like making gravy. Tolerably successful on that front.

Y'all reminded me of my peas. Mixed the rest up with the frozen corn and cilantro lime dressing and put into individual cups for lunches. Step up from my usual bananas and Kind Strong bars.

sarameg, I love the little bra store in Pasadena, but they don't fit smaller than a D. [link] But if you want to go when you're here, I'd strongly recommend. Though the bras are more expensive than any I have purchased before. And that includes agent provacateur.

Kat, that's my one true bra store! Worth every penny.

Nom, back from a flying visit to wine country with megan walker & my friend K. We had some okay wine and some good wine, and talked all the way up to Healdsburg & back, and had great sandwiches on a porch overlooking Dry Creek Valley. So that was nice.

And now dinner is (one more) glass of wine and some potato chips because I cannot be arsed to cook.

Should do laundry, but I really just want to crash.

Heated up leftovers for dinner after spending way too much money at Target (and that's without buying a couple things I wanted because they didn't have the size/color combo I wanted!). Then met up with an ex for some drinks. Good times, though I felt a little bad when we were talking about something else and I mentioned a different ex and said she was the best kisser I ever dated. The ex I was drinking with was like "Hey!" And to be fair, the ex I was with today was probably the second best kisser--and was really good in bed. But...not appropriate to say to someone. Especially when she's dating someone else.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Went out with a friend and her two kids to see "Matilda" tonight. The eldest is about to graduate and go off to college, and we had a wonderful conversation while his mom and younger bro were in line for tacos. He had questions about how college classes are different than high school classes and how to make friends and how to dress for the weather in Pittsburgh (a big issue for a native Angeleno). This is a guy who is not a big talker, so I was really honored that he opened up to me. Made my night.

Matilda was great, by the way.

Zenkitty, have you tried tubing? When I visited a friend in Charlottesville in 2005, she took me to a place where they drive you upstream and then send you down a fairly calm river in innertubes. We brought a cooler and got a smaller tube for that. It was lovely--we chatted and drifted, half submerged in a cool river on a hot day I'm pretty sure it was well under $20, albeit 10 years ago

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

That's awesome, Scrappy.
