If I were to wear khakis and a polo shirt because in my head that is "casual Friday uniform" is that normcore or can a 46-year-old lady not wear that ironically?
Seems pretty normcore to me, but does the irony come down to the intention of the wearer, or the interpretation of the viewer?
I have a ginormous bruise on my calf. Kat and Scrappy, can I ask what were the symptoms that made you suspicious of DVT? I am worried that I'm being all casual and secretly running around risking a stroke. Which reminds me, I should set up a derm appointment to have my skin checked.
Also, while I'm making a mental check list, I need to get the piano tuned.

Yay Burrell! I, too, have eaten and have coffee. Mmm, coffee. Now I'm contemplating if I should go buy decaf for the sole purpose of making some cold-brew that I can drink ALL DAY LONG. Because summer demands iced coffee. (I bought the cold brew concentrate from trader joe's, after buying some of the starbucks iced coffee from the supermarket, but neither of those is decaf).
The repair people for my car just called--she was like "I was wondering what happened to the cover for your spare tire?" (since the tire was what got hit in the accident, though hitting it bent other things too). I informed her it got stolen like, six months after I bought the car (true--Vortex was there, that night!). She apparently ordered a new one thinking it had been damaged in the accident! Hah. Don't think I'll get to keep it but that would be pretty funny (she confirmed it's about $500 these days, so that's way more than I'm willing to spend)
