I can't believe nobody has mentioned this excellent address at Jessica's possible house! (Or maybe somebody has; I had a nap this afternoon and am not yet up to full faculties.)

ETA: I love it. Even more than the last one I loved.

I slept in after yesterday's excitement and have been drinking coffee and lazily browsing the internets. I think I'm going to run some errands before the rain hits, and then spend the rest of the day reading and watching Netflix.

I want to see Mad Max but I the show I've been working on has so much video assaulting the senses that I think I need to take a day of relative quiet.

I wasn't bothered by the sound of Mad Max while I was watching it, but going from that to a very loud sports bar was too much. You probably should take that day. And also let me know if you'd like company, because I think I'd like to see it again.

I am trying to convince myself to make food that I have in the house, rather than order delivery. This is my micro piece of adulting for the day. Must. Convince. Self.

eta: I hope tiny kitten eats, meara!

I think I have done all I can in the front yard today. It looks okay. Have gotten started in the kitchen but must pause until I have some lunch. Food did not magically prepare itself while I mowed the lawn, alas.

I hope foster kitty is eating and/or you got some good advice, meara.

Two good things about today:

Brunch with Kat and K and kids and Polgara and Alibelle.

When I first got to the airport they were saying my flight was 2 hours late, but now it is on time. Yay!

Achievement unlocked: boys sleepover successfully concluded. No injuries, no fights, everyone slept at least 6 hours. Okay, most slept only 6 hours, but still... I'm calling it a win. Bonus: boy child cleaned up all the nerf guns himself (nevermind that I had to ask him to do it about 10 times).

That may have used up all my adulting skills for the day, but I hope not since I'm still washing out blankets and there's more dishes to do.

House! Date! Cat! Brunch! On time flights! Adulting!

The rain came earlier than predicted and I got very damp. Therefore it is the perfect time to get back in my pajamas and read a book.

Speaking of adulting, I'm wondering if 3 pm is too early to pour myself an adult drink. It sounds kinda early to me. Oh well. 4 isn't too far off, and that sounds almost acceptable!
