Achievement unlocked: boys sleepover successfully concluded. No injuries, no fights, everyone slept at least 6 hours. Okay, most slept only 6 hours, but still... I'm calling it a win. Bonus: boy child cleaned up all the nerf guns himself (nevermind that I had to ask him to do it about 10 times).
That may have used up all my adulting skills for the day, but I hope not since I'm still washing out blankets and there's more dishes to do.

The rain came earlier than predicted and I got very damp. Therefore it is the perfect time to get back in my pajamas and read a book.
Speaking of adulting, I'm wondering if 3 pm is too early to pour myself an adult drink. It sounds kinda early to me. Oh well. 4 isn't too far off, and that sounds almost acceptable!
We had adult beverages at brunch, so I say go for it.
When I first got to the airport they were saying my flight was 2 hours late, but now it is on time. Yay!

We came home and took Penny to disc golf. K got hit with a disc and now we are home.

Hrm, good point, although brunch usually involves food too, so that absorbs some of the booze.
I have mopped a bit, taken bags of stuff out of my house, washed dishes, and cleaned litter boxes. Now I rest.

Now I am early dinner/snacking on guac and chips. this will probably just be dinner. The avocados were getting too soft and I am really really trying to get better about using food before it goes bad. I throw away too much.

Lucy apparently likes pineapple! I don't know why I am surprised, I guess i supposed it might be too acidic for bunny tastes, but she seemed to enjoy the test scrap I gave her. Of course, I just put the rest of the core and, what do you call the outer shell? Skin doesn't seem right, and neither does rind. Anyway, all the parts I'm not eating are conveniently piled next to her food dish. It may take her a while to get through it.
