I *love* the kitchen. This is the antique stove in there now - I have a feeling I'll love cooking on it for about a month before the charm wears off and I want to replace it with something modern. But since it's a gas range, swapping it out wouldn't be a major renovation. (A lot of the other homes we looked at had electric cooktops and teeny wall ovens. Ick.)
I'm curious, though, why you're looking at Westchester, as opposed to, say, Montclair or West Orange or Maplewood. It would be a much easier commute!
Ooh, it looks gorgeous to me!
Real estate, man. My massage therapist just told me they paid $118K for their house. The whole house!

Fair enough. Just be warned: it really isn't anything at all like what you see on Sleepy Hollow.
Jessica, we had a stove similar to that. It was a heat monster. When I think of that house, I just remember the unremitting heat. (It also had east facing french windows around the entire living room).

Booooo.
That house looks great, Jess! And yeah, that kitchen is amazing.

I knew we shouldn't have let our realtor talk us into demon insurance...
There are two other offers on the house. So.
So I'm here getting Hazel, and feeling a little bad that I didn't get the black cat who has been here since February! People are the worst.
