Ugh, coworkers having super loud conversations with clients on a Friday morning when I was up way too late last night trying to distract myself with the internet. I had to put on Pandora just to drown them out.

Report of Maple Water? It's okay. It's super sweet as expected but not especially mapley. I am constantly disappointed in most maple products (except the maple cookies at TJs which are yum).
Ginger, I hate the lab stupidity. I wish for you easier orders/procedures/transfusions.
N is transferring to my school next year which looks to be a paper nightmare because we live out of district. He seems excited to come, but not 100% on board (he said he was 79% certain).
G had 15 vials of blood drawn yesterday for genetic testing. The lab didn't have the authorization (though the geneticist at the hospital that owns the lab did and in fact called me to arrange the appointment and followed up with the lab 3 days ago). Luckily, I had the auth in the car so I pulled over, took pictures of the authorization on my phone and texted them to K to make it work. Ugh.
OK, I did my morning exercises and ran. And warmed up some bread from the oven.
My telecon starts in 20 minutes, so I guess I'll skip my shower and just call in in my bathrobe. Hee! It's with the Navy, and I shall chortle at the thought of me in my bathrobe while they're all in uniforms etc.
I may try to make this banana bread this weekend: minimal added sugar, and it'll use up the bananas in the freezer.
15 vials! Hope that the information is helpful.
The parent-teachers I know here and in my family have all ended up with their kids at their schools, although out of district. Always a debatable decision for sure, but in the end convenience won out.
We are still hoping to persuade my niece to either switch to her home district school or let her son go to that school. The home district school is a tiny and awesome school. Less than 300 students, K-12. She teaches in a larger school further away. They would love to have her at home school, but since it is so small, and she is a Spanish language teacher, she would have a lot more work with so many different grade levels to prepare for. Where she is now she only has 3 different levels. Kid will be fine either way because both are good schools, but in such a tiny community it would be nice to see him in school with his neighbors.
Is there a word for a situation that has gone far enough beyond a clusterfuck that clusterfuck isn't strong enough anymore?
I forgot that we get to leave early today. A good thing, but I need to rethink what work I can get done in the next three hours...
