I thought about my down vest. Would've been overkill, probably. I passed a guy who was going to go fish and he yelled "what month is it?" in an outraged fashion, we both laughed, and he went back to his car to get more clothes.
ION - I just saw "with great power comes great responsibility" attributed to Voltaire rather than Spiderman (or Uncle Ben). Feels weird.
I thought my 5pm pacific call was magically at 3pm central. Oops. I'll be on a plane when it happens. Hope there's good minutes.
Also, the Omaha airport is awful for healthy food. As in, I'm eating pizza because my other options were hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken tenders, or a "garden salad".
My landlady didn't deposit my rent until today which has screwed up all my bill payments. It's almost the end of the month! Will I get screwed again if she deposits my check on time for June?
I am bored and want to go home (from cabin) but my handy traffic site shows that the final 30 miles of the trip is currently moving at 11 mph. I think I am stuck here for a bit.
The month of May brings an "extra" paycheck (paid every two weeks), and I was looking at my bank account and thinking Hmmm. In a victory for adulting, I channeled my urge for retail therapy into paying off my Target credit card and another card I use for online clothes shopping. Not as fun, and I'm sure I'll do something decadent this weekend, but satisfying all the same.
Almost forgot to stop working. The dangers of working from home, I see them now.

Adulting can be very satisfying.
We cut the cord a couple years back, and the only thing I'm missing is Outlander on time. We watch it on Amazon, but its months delayed from the broadcast. But we would have to buy 3 new HD full series online every month to cost as much as cable did, so I'm willing to wait.
Yeah, we buy Archer on Amazon, but that's still, what, a one-time cost of $20? Way less than monthly cable.
We already have too many shows, so we wouldn't have time to watch more even if we did have cable. The only advantage to cable would be a DVR or On Demand, but it's not worth the price, for me. As long as we watch within 4 weeks (for most CW shows, Hulu has the most recent 4 up), we're good.
I wish CBS had their shows on Hulu, b/c we've missed some Elementary, and I haven't figured out a way to stream CBS via the Roku.
Archer is on Netflix, and I'm wondering about it. I have a surprisingly low tolerance for crudeness, but a high respect for Teppy's opinion. Is my untutored impression of Archer as being fairly strongly R accurate?
