Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I need to cut the cord Real Soon. Especially now that I'm kind of mostly over Game of Thrones.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

People keep coming to the door shilling for cable. They get a panicky look in their eye when I tell them I run off the antenna and Internet. But then these are kids who got sucked into the "You can get rich easy if you're just motivated enough to sell-sell-sell!" thing. But I don't feel sorry enough to sign up with Comcast. I'll go satellite first.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

DirecTV has me in their clutches because football. Even the Xfinity guy had to concede that he had no way to pry me away.

Coffee shop was a good call. I planned to walk Walter down. Get my coffee and go home, but he talked me into a longer walk. Sitting on a bench at City Hall enjoying the grey and chilly day.

Apparently there's piped music along the waterfront, which I guess I knew but only really notice at Christmastime. Today it was playing an orchestral (or strings) version of The Wall.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

10 years without.

Work is boring me, but I really need to do a tedious task. Maybe tomorrow.

hip deep in pie

About a month ago I cut the cord. They haven't gotten around to turning off my cable yet. It makes me wish I had more than basic cable before the snip.

The thing is, there isn't even really anything I want to watch on TV, I prefer the stuff I see on PBS. So cable makes no sense for me.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

We haven't had cable for at least five years.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

My cable/internet is provided by a group deal via my landlord, so I couldn't change service providers if I wanted to.

I am just waiting for someone to try and sell me on AT&T phone service so I can share the tale of my years-long struggle with collection agencies they sicced on me in error and tell them I'd resort to carrier pigeon before going back to AT&T.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

75% of what I watch is network anyway, or Ion reruns. It's sports that keeps stopping me from making the change, and to a lesser extent news channels.
