I'm so sorry, but if it makes you feel any better, my fun-time-Buffy party night involved watching a robot throw Spike through a window, so if you want to trade... no wait, I wouldn't give up that memory for anything.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Yikes.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Ugh, I hate teleconferences. And meetings in general.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

And Mondays. They should be on the list too.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Things I like: A day off! I feel like I should see Mad Max on feminist principles, but I don't know if I'll make it out of the house.

What a world we live in, where this sentence makes perfect sense.

I know, right? I realize I should go drop off a library book, and that's close to the movie theater, so I can put off both errands and deciding until closer to show time.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

This morning I fell prey to the dangers of working from home: Tim left for work a lot earlier than he usually does, and I was still asleep. I woke up at 9, which is at least an hour later than I usually get up. But it's not horribly late (I tend to drink my coffee and read the internet for a while before I start working, unless I have a ton of work with pressing deadlines), so I rolled over, stretched...and woke up AGAIN at 10:30 HOLY CRAP WHAT.

I don't think I've ever done that since I started working from home. Eeeesh. Fortunately I didn't have any pressing deadlines, but still. I do feel well-rested, that's for sure.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Perhaps if Kato had dragged you out for a walk at 6 freaking AM like *someone* did today. Gronk.

Oh, Darby. Learn the virtues of sleeping in!
