That does sound good, Gris. My family loves Key Lime pie; I'll give it a shot.

Thanks Gris!!! I love key lime pie and will give this a try.
In family news, K-Bug's grad went well. My dad and his wife are in town for both graduations. We moved the rest of our stuff from the apartment - I drove the huge UHaul this time. Now we are onto the unpacking/organizing the garage phase of the fun. And, eventually, selling the rest of the furniture that didn't move and cleaning the apartment. I don't have to turn over keys until June 14th, so we can do that once we are all set-up here.
NB arrested again. I hope he realizes he needs some help pretty soon.
All of his arrests have been at conventions, haven't they?
He needs to get back to work on a show or play with a regular schedule and stop attending cons.
Kinda like Robert Downey Jr.
Or invent one that's like, SoberCon, with cosplaying people working their steps dressed like vampires.(For all I know, this may be a tradition already.)

Heh! Genius.
Hmm, love key lime pie and Greek yogurt, dislike white chocolate. Is that a key ingredient to making it delicious?
Went on a 2nd date tonight. In theory it went very well--she's smart, funny, cute, etc. but...just not feeling it, date-wise, though I'd totally be friends with her. Ugh. Why, self??? We kissed at the end and I just felt horridly awkward. Sigh.
meara, I've found recipes with white chocolate often don't even taste like they have it in it. I use ita's recipe for bread pudding that has white chocolate chips and it doesn't really add to the flavor, just the consistency.
ION, my roommate was offered a position in the custodial department at the VA hospital at $14/hr, which is great. She's been working there for 6 months under a special program to get disabled vets back to work, but it was more or less contract work. She's been on disability forever and this will allow her to get off it; plus working for the VA makes her a federal employee. She had 16 years in the military, when she got out to raise a family. Any years with the federal government will be added to her military service towards a federal retirement, which is even more awesome. Plus, plus, she was recently evaluated for medical compensation on the basis of her disability and look like she'll be getting 60% compensation based on what her pay level was when she got out. The woman is pretty much set for life. She'll be making mucho bucks more than me.
