So, I left Los Angeles early this morning and was on the freeway by 8am. Made good time cruising up the 5, got into San Francisco by 1:30 and three blocks from my house...total gridlock from Bay to Breakers. Takes me 45 minutes to get around the barriers that block almost all North/South traffic in the city when I'm close enough to walk home in 15 minutes.
Then, of course, there was no parking when I did get to my neighborhood. Kind of a dirty trick, traffic gods.
At the moment I'm hating every twenty something in the City, especially that one guy in the Tigger suit. You know why Vaping Tigger Dude!!

I need more shoes that are comfortable yet cute. Such a hard niche. Also would be helpful: things that are cute for a date but don't look like trying too hard. I feel like i either have nice, work-type clothes, or jeans and tshirts.

Here's the thing about Vaping Tigger Tino Dude - and I think I actually found a knew meme to hate on the younger generation (my prerogative as an old fart) - he came up to me and asked if I could give him a ride.
First of all this was stupid because the cars were going nowhere. Which he would have noticed if he wasn't so stoned he had just fallen into a flower bed trying to kiss a girl dressed like Supermario.
Second, he was so...Uber Entitled. Like, the world owes him an instant ride. So fuck you, Vaping Tigger Tino Dude! The world does not owe you a ride!
I just had twould slices of Cooking Light's "recipe makeover" key lime pie, which uses 2% Greek yogurt in the filling and white chocolate in the crust. Both moves are ostensibly aimed at fat reduction but I swear they made a better key lime pie than any I have ever had.
Easy. Do it.

In family news, K-Bug's grad went well. My dad and his wife are in town for both graduations. We moved the rest of our stuff from the apartment - I drove the huge UHaul this time. Now we are onto the unpacking/organizing the garage phase of the fun. And, eventually, selling the rest of the furniture that didn't move and cleaning the apartment. I don't have to turn over keys until June 14th, so we can do that once we are all set-up here.
NB arrested again. I hope he realizes he needs some help pretty soon.
