This month had a Haunted House theme. I am making immediate use of the To Do Lists (people to scare, places to haunt)
What you did to me was unbelievable, Connor. But then I got stuck in a hell dimension by my girlfriend one time for a hundred years, so three months under the ocean actually gave me perspective. Kind of a M.C. Escher perspective, but I did get time to think.

I have dishwasher! Although it won't be delivered until Monday, and will be left in the garage so the contractors can install it in a few months.
Went to a very fun play last night, and this morning I ran in the woods. [link]
Now I have to pay some bills and do the dishes -- I had bacon for breakfast! With eggs! So yummy. And then off to visit Dad.
He's now at the point where he's losing phone numbers, so I'm going to print out cards with his necessary numbers on them, of the right size to tape within the notebook he carries everywhere. Hopefully that will help. Argh.

We have partied, and been to Trader Joe's. I am now on the porch with wine and the dogs (Salsa's sister is here for the weekend). Instead of goody bags we gave gift certificates for a free cone form the local gelato place, and that made so many kids and parents happy that I am giving myself a gold star. One parent says, " so nice of you to support a local business, etc. etc." and I think, "actually, I was just taking the easy way out ..."
My DH and daughter are . . . Somewhere.

So, I left Los Angeles early this morning and was on the freeway by 8am. Made good time cruising up the 5, got into San Francisco by 1:30 and three blocks from my house...total gridlock from Bay to Breakers. Takes me 45 minutes to get around the barriers that block almost all North/South traffic in the city when I'm close enough to walk home in 15 minutes.
Then, of course, there was no parking when I did get to my neighborhood. Kind of a dirty trick, traffic gods.
At the moment I'm hating every twenty something in the City, especially that one guy in the Tigger suit. You know why Vaping Tigger Dude!!

I need more shoes that are comfortable yet cute. Such a hard niche. Also would be helpful: things that are cute for a date but don't look like trying too hard. I feel like i either have nice, work-type clothes, or jeans and tshirts.

Here's the thing about Vaping Tigger Tino Dude - and I think I actually found a knew meme to hate on the younger generation (my prerogative as an old fart) - he came up to me and asked if I could give him a ride.
First of all this was stupid because the cars were going nowhere. Which he would have noticed if he wasn't so stoned he had just fallen into a flower bed trying to kiss a girl dressed like Supermario.
Second, he was so...Uber Entitled. Like, the world owes him an instant ride. So fuck you, Vaping Tigger Tino Dude! The world does not owe you a ride!
