It's hot and muggy out. I've a horrid suspicion my swim will be stormed out, no matter when I head over. But still going to shower hair product out (haircut today or I would've swum earlier.) Which can't happen here, have to let the lye sit 8 hrs. Really hope it works.

go de-cluttering.
I am doing the same here. I am biting the bullet and taking the steps to open an etsy shop to sell off vintage housewares and clothing. I have well over 30 things I could list today, but with taking pictures, measurements, weights and whatnot (steaming out the clothes, getting them on the dress form), I am hoping to get 10 things up. We shall see. In the meantime, just in moving things while cleaning, I have a bag for thrift store and a second bag for bookstore.
Now that I have bought the dragon, Amazon is trying to sell me Gnomes
That's (almost) better than a finisher's medal! (Seriously, those medals are like crack to me.)
It has those too! I should just sign up.
Yay Tom, Lee, msbelle, Sail, dragon. Boo fever! Poor kiddo, and poor Sparky.
Have fun, Jesse. sarameg, I thought for a second you had lye on your hair, but I figured it out. Good luck with the swim and the sewer line. Separately.
Ugh on the job stuff, Suela, yay on the dishwasher.
I am having trouble keeping my eyes open. I went back to bed for the last couple of hours and am no longer sleepy, but still just want to have my eyes closed.
I decluttered two boxes last weekend. This weekend I can't because all of my available boxes are filled with stuff from our bathroom that's off the shelves while we have it painted. (Getting the place ready to sell = finally getting rid of the fugly-ass beige wallpaper we've been putting up with in the bathroom for 8 years.)
meara! You're doing the thing! That's more than most people do. Gold star for showing up. A waterfall of gold stars for crossing the finish line -- doesn't matter how long it takes you to get there.
Also just wanted to echo this. Truth.
The cat is super cute, and hey I can buy it with points! Yes, please.
Points? I get a few bucks off every time, because I use my Discover card and build up rewards that way. I'm just wondering if there's some other program out there I need to know about, because I am cheap like that.
I have an Amazon Visa card that collects points like airline miles. Nice for the buying of frivolous things.
listing items is taking so long. but, on the up side, I have found several more kitchen items to list and a few more to get rid of.
The idea with doing this is that unlike eBay, I will not have to resist after so many days and do the process over and over if they do not sell. Also I have 4 years before I am really gonna have to downsize (current plan anyway), so this allows me to just add to the site as I go through more and clarify what I no longer want.
