It's good to have cargo. Makes us a target for every other scavenger out there, though, but sometimes that's fun too.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I remembered to wear pants today.

Yeah, that's about all I've got.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I once actually did forget to wear pants (or actually a skirt. I was wearing a long coat, and when I arrived at work, I realized I was only wearing tights and a sweater under my coat!

Luckily, I was working in a costume shop!

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I have been increasing my amount of caffeine this week, in an effort to stay upright, and so far so good. It helps that my boss is out of the office today, so no meetings.

I had a chat about open roles with someone this morning who has been in a similar situation to the one I'm in. He gave me some advice and wants me to be careful to know what I'm getting into and not just running away from a bad situation, which is fair. I think we're going to invent a reason to get me out to the west coast for a visit.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Not wearing pants (US version) today. Maxi dress. I actually decided what to wear today based on the premise that pants AND a top made for way too many decisions.

That sounds like a good plan, shrift.

I've been thinking about this long enough that I am pretty sure I'm not jumping in blind and that relocation wouldn't be too traumatic, but it really would be good to spend some time with both teams in person.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

I'm wearing yoga pants and the t-shirt I slept in, the standard outfit for the feral hobo WFH editor.

I have to run to the CVS (for allergy meds, what a surprise!), so I'll change into a clean t-shirt and shorts before I do that. Grudgingly.

I'm wearing this today. I love eShakti.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I've been thinking about this long enough that I am pretty sure I'm not jumping in blind and that relocation wouldn't be too traumatic, but it really would be good to spend some time with both teams in person.

Yeah, that would be great.

shrift, I feel your pain. I waffled on accepting my new position over a weekend just because I wasn't sure how much leaving my current boss was affecting that decision and if it was really as bad as I had it set in my mind. Then, I decided that in the long run it didn't matter, because the new job could open doors the old one couldn't.
