No, my opening salvo was [link] but in response to a post in response to the bloggess. Makes me tired.

Didn't the first cars have push-button starts?
I have zero commute now. Tim's is 1.3 miles. Seriously, if I got a new car, I would put very few miles on it.
Zero commute here too! I bought my first new new car in 2009, and it now has ~27000 miles. It's going to last me a long time, I hope. But sometimes I'm sad that I bought a cheap economical 4-cylinder car and I want a powerful engine like that 8-cylinder Caddy.
My commute is 0 miles, 3 miles or 70 miles depending. Though I guess yesterday it was 500 each way.
I'm gonna need to stay up an extra half hour and flush my brain pan to get these animal hybrid images out of my mind: [link] Jilli, you should skip the opener. Tommy, there's at least one special present in there for you.
Speaking of hallucinations, on my way home yesterday, there was a woman up ahead of me who definitely had no head! I stared and stared, and yep -- no head. But then I realized she was just looking at something on the ground, and her head was there after all, just hiding.
Wow, I don't think I could bend my neck that much.
Yeah, I don't know, but it was definitely creepy from down the street!
Wow, headless woman!
I am once again awake and at the airport way too early. Thoug at least today is an hour later than Monday. Hoping I can make it through the day and do what I need to do-- when I booked it I was thinking I was at the easy place today and the hard one tomorrow, but it's the other way around. Oops.
Good luck, meara. Once you get through today tomorrow should be a piece of cake, at least?
I bravely clicked on ita's animal hybrid link: maybe it's a sign that I am watching too much Creature Shop, but many of those were not disturbing at all! Although I don't get where the yawning maw on the catmeleon came from.
Didn't the first cars have push-button starts?
You mean electrically started gasoline-powered cars? Those had big pushbuttons on the floor--usually under the gas pedal.
