Theo, btw, I really think you should reach out to friends about helping to pay for Minet's care, at least -- people (aka me) would be glad to help!

Me, too!
I need to buy some eggs.
So my errors this weekend at work ( nothing major, but annoying) have resulted in me being removed from the weekend rotation. It is the equivalent of throwing me into the briar patch. I won't be getting overtime every fifth week like I did when I worked, but SO worth it.
Normally I would be afraid about any reduction of job duties, but this is good and this makes sense. I am not involved in a lot of the day to day production talk and then to have to be dealing with it basically solo every fifth weekend ( or even rarer because of weather) makes it difficult.
So, maybe slightly worrisome, but more Yay! I can freely plan weekends.
Sounds good, msbelle!
Still hoping you can find a more congenial job.
Weird, I can't get into Tumblr from work, and not because it's blocked but because the security settings and connections don't go through. Not even with a Danger, Will Robinson warning.
A friend on Balt. City Council said some wise things the other day that got picked up by the City Paper. I'm really proud of him. I may have made an error posting his words on my fbook feed (my friendslist contains a lot of different politics), but I kind of want the world to know that there are a lot more ways to think about what's happened, and what can happen next.

TB, all good luck in tracking down a diagnosis, and that helping treat your symptoms. Bodies are often difficult.
Matt, I'm sorry about your elderly relative, and I hope her brother is merely tired and confused. I'm glad you were able to be a pallbearer.
Suzi, I'm enjoying hearing about your move.
Had my performance review - basically I am awesome, keep it up, so that feels good. And I did get a raise, which I wasn't sure would be happening considering the year we've had. 3.5%, which doesn't amount to much but it does get me past a round number that I was on the wrong side of, so that's nice.
I should probably spend some time thinking about my automatic deductions, but I am so not in a mood to think about money lately. What little I've done in that are has all been making sure my bills get paid on time, and that has been challenging enough.
