By the way, although I agree with the sentiment, that was a quote.Jimmy McNulty and Bunk, for some reason I don't remember, have to go to some small town that Jimmy considers in kind of the shitkicker hinterlands, so to make the locals comfortable, he acts like a mega-racist. Only of course, the guy they're there to see has a black wife and thinks Jimmy is the WORST, ever. He takes Bunk aside and says "Your partner is kind of asshole." Bunk agrees, though mostly not for that reason.

Uhg, going to be exhausting for a while. I just sent a plea to city Y to be open (not just selfish) because school is canceled tomorrow and we need MORE community places, not less. I've offered my spare to friends who've offered to host their school kids' friends' family but don't have enough room (''''s) in case it gets too intense where they are.

Our kitty is still hanging in there somehow. I got her to drink down some tuna water, so that's kind of like eating. Vet is giving her something tomorrow. Fingers crossed that it works and our kooky, blind cat with dementia gets to live a little longer.

Well, someone called me this morning! ...I think it was dcp?? (He said, but I was still groggy) It still took me another half hour to get all up and working out, but it happened!! And I still have time to shower and quickly eat something before going to work, yay! I will likely regret the early hour on my flight tonight but ah well.

The kitty lives to sneeze another day! The emergency vet gave her something to stop the throwing up (which was caused largely because she had swallowed so much blood -- hey, I'd throw up, too), and epinephrine to stop the bloody sneezing. And now we have her in a cage just in case she starts sneezing blood again, to limit the splatter radius. But the cage also keeps her near the humidifier, which tends to help her poor sinuses.
But she hasn't sneezed any blood since they came home last night, so she seems okay.
