Compassionately intolerant

Burrell, I am holding Folly in my heart. Bless you all.

Kate, how wonderful to get good news out of that situation.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Poor Folly. Making her comfortable at home sounds like a good choice.

hip deep in pie

Burrell, My cats Pico and Clio both had vomit blood at some point and both times it was due to irritated stomachs. With Pico, it was because of medication, but Clio would eat grass and throw up blood. (Not that it ever stopped her from eating grass.)

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Judging by the state of a small, formerly mostly white dog, there's a large muddy hole somewhere in the backyard.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Chumley has been really listless the last couple days -- mostly uninterested in food, which is majorly worrisome.

The Nepal quake was felt in Pakistan AND Bangladesh. That's one hell of an earthquake.

Indeed. What a mess, and so many unsheltered in bad weather now.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Okay, it is so wrong to spend your year dealing with Ebola and then on vacation have a 7.8 earthquake. What the heck, planet?

Seriously!

Poor Folly and you guys, Burrell.

I've seen some cctv of the quake. It was pretty scary.

So there's a bit going on here today. I love this picture. [link] A group of kids road ahead of the protest marchers, laying down their precious bikes to close intersections. She was the only girl the reporter saw in the group. Her face says so much.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Watching the White House Correspondents' Dinner. Not sure why.
