I'm knocking things off my to-do list before leaving at ungodly early o'clock tomorrow morning.
Expensive prescription dog food that the dog doesn't want to eat: bought.
Brother's graduation gift: picked up.
My prescription: picked up.
Laptop handed off to board member: yes.
Checked in for flight: done.
I am in the process of cooking rice and chicken to freeze for the dogsitter in case the dog gets sick.
I still need to:
Obsessively check and revise my packing list (this is the first trip I'm taking in a long time where I'm not bringing my laptop, since it's only 4 days and I have a smartphone and Tim has a tablet)
Write a check for the petsitter and leave it with the mail key
Pack everything but toiletries
Try not to flip out like a mammal
We get back Monday night, then I'm home for 2 days and then fly to Chicago a week from today. I am SO looking forward to seeing AoU with Buffistas!
I come back from Chicago the next night (Friday) and, like a fool, am walking another 5K the next morning. WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME.
BOOM! I knocked one more thing off my list! And only two months late...
Hah. I did one thing (the minor thing) on the list. And then had a conference call for 20 minutes and sent about five other emails. And then was hungry so came downstairs, and the good news is, I FINALLY got info from my new mortgage company! (I refinanced in mid-March. They bought the loan from the people who refinanced it in late March. But as of mid-April still hadn't sent me anything! I called last week to say WTF and got some info and was able to log into their system, but am glad to have paper also). Bad news is, they are somehow NOT on my bank's e-pay list. Which is annoying and takes extra time.
I have stopped doing anything other than watching Sleepy Hollow and Arrow on Hulu.
And THEN I had a ten-minute call where I found out we are getting twice as much money as we thought we might be able to ask for. MAGIC.
So I guess I'm going to go now. It's my mom's birthday! I have to get her flowers.
Have Health Faired. My systolic blood pressure has gone up since last year, but diastolic (that's the bottom one, right?), blood sugar, and total cholesterol all went down.
No idea what to with that information, it's not like I have been consistently trying to do anything in particular. But I always like to have data.
Timelies all!
It's too cold for me today. Meh.
Aw, Chris Pratt talking about triathlons on Ellen. That's my sweet spot
Well, I got two reports done. One I had planned to do tomorrow, and did instead of one of the ones that was due today. Because that one is for an awful place and will require SO much documentation. ...still not a good reason, but at least it got done (tomorrow, many teleconferences, expenses, and the hard report plus one more easy one)
