I'm going to replace the locks myself. I have a box of tools and a box of cleaning supplies for Friday.
K-Bug and I got out for a bit, spent too much at Home Goods, and got pulled over by the police. Guess I made a rolling stop at a stop sign. I couldn't find my current insurance papers and learned that a person can get arrested for not having insurance documentation. I, thankfully, got off with a warning. Mind you, I was going 5 mph over the speed limit when he flipped on his lights AND neither K-Bug nor I had our seat belts on. Oooooops.
Yikes on the seatbelts. I try to encourage my passengers to wear them (personal friends I
insist
).
My car makes an annoying enough warning noise that seatbelts are mandatory. I won't listen to that.
We are typically good about buckling up when we get in the car. I have no clue how we both ended up without. My car does make annoying noises if I do forget, but I honestly don't remember any dings. As I pulled over I had that "Oh sh*t" moment of not wearing my belt and then "double sh*t" when I realized K-Bug didn't have hers - just so not normal.
Ugh. Why did I think a 7am flight was a good plan? (I mean, better than the 6am flight my roommate was on (going a different place) but still).
Also wtf did I do to the muscles that attach my neck to my back? Ow!!
I did go dancing last night and have lots of fun, though. Which I couldn't have done if I had to fly in last night.
Fun dancing is fun! 7am flights, nsm.
I don't know what the hell is going on out there today -- went to pick up my lunch, and there was a group of young women jammed into the foyer at Panera. As I passed, one was saying, "The only thing that made it worth it is I did a keg stand before the cops got there." And then there was a guy who I am sure was peeing against the wall of the building next to mine!
It's Marathon Monday, right?
Timelies all!
I'm at the airport, way early for my flight.(I gave myself a lot of time to get through customs, which turned out not to be necessary.)
Well, yeah, but I would expect that kind of thing closer to the route! Or later in the day! It's before noon on a cold Monday!
