Spike: At least give me Wesley's office since he's gone. Angel: He's not gone. He's on a leave of absence. Spike: Yeah, right. Boo-hoo. Thought he killed his bloody father. Try staking your mother when she's coming on to you! Harmony: Well…that explains a lot.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

I'm at the airport, way early for my flight.(I gave myself a lot of time to get through customs, which turned out not to be necessary.)

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Well, yeah, but I would expect that kind of thing closer to the route! Or later in the day! It's before noon on a cold Monday!

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

It's a three day weekend for a lot of people?

I did a 6-10 shift (7-10 of which is the theoretical guaranteed-$30 rate) and will go out again at 3 PM for a couple more daylight-ish hours. Yesterday's afternoon shift took me around -- Somerville, with side trips to Arlington and Cambridge. Not complaining, just surprised that it was All Local.

It's Patriots' Day in Massachusetts and Maine commemorating the Battles of Lexington and Concord. The Boston Marathon is also held today.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Probably not 420 day.

x-posty...

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Make lots of money, Theo!

Man, my co-worker who is part of the mgmt team, my boss, and my bosses' boss are all out sick today, apparently all with different things. Great grand boss just dropped by to let us all know we can come to her since otherwise we are leaderless. As a practical matter, it doesn't make much difference, but it feels kinda weird, like maybe I should take opportunity to run amok or something.

Run amok! How often do you get the chance?

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Ugh, the helicopters are already circling over head for 4/20, which is a fucking nightmare day in my neighborhood as you can imagine.

Pot-Heads On Parade! Stoner Bros! Deadheads in all directions! Chronic-ally stupid behavior!
