Hmm. It's sounds like the finest party I can imagine getting paid to go to.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Horrible night.

Combination of my reaction to chores not being done and something else that I have no idea what it is got E upset to point of storming out of house. While I continued cleaning I guess he just worked himself up. It was bedtime and his phone was not charging in kitchen where it is supposed to be. I went to him and asked for it, he refused. I did the kindergarten count to 3 thing we used to do, he threw it out of the room. I told him to go to bed and he responded "make me". I told him he could keep trying me, but I would not wake him up for school if he kept this up and if he gets one more tardy he will have disciplinary action from the school. I headed to kitchen to plug in phone. I have not touched him, mind you. I turn around and he has this giant wooden sword (a play sword, but solid wood) raised at me. He is going off at me trying to control him and he pushes the sword toward me and I push it away and he pushes me into the kitchen counters.

I am sure I slapped back at him or pushed, but I just got out of the kitchen and went to take a shower. He gathered all of his electronics and locked himself in his bathroom. He came out once and tried to sneak into my room while I was in bed but I saw him and told him to get out, then I shut my door and went to sleep. Really good times not knowing if you will wake up to your kid gone, dead, trying to hurt you, or what.

He was just asleep in his bed.

Of course I have a friend coming into town tonight and we are going to dinner with grandparents tonight for his early birthday dinner. Of FUCKING course.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I'm sorry, msbelle. That sounds awful.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh, man, that does sound awful.

Oh geez msbelle. How tough.

David, I also loved the lemon HD 5-ingredient ice cream. Sad.

Oy, msbelle. I am so sorry. That sort of emotional chaos is so painful for everyone. I wish there were something do-able to fix it immediately. But that's not the way it goes.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Oh, Rebecca. Parenting is not for the faint of heart. I'm sorry this is so rough.

Punishingly Intricate

Oh, msbelle, I'm sorry. It's so hard.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Oh, msbelle. That's so tough. I wish everything would be calm for you and E.

I have a hivemind question about dental stuff: the other day, Tim thought one of his teeth was loose, and then decided it was just the crown that was wiggling around. (He called the dentist yesterday to get it re-cemented, but they're closed on Thursdays. He didn't just ignore it.)

This morning, the crown came off -- with part of the tooth in it. He says it doesn't hurt. (This is a tooth that had a root canal years ago.) He called the dentist first thing this morning, and it turns out they were closed all week, including today.

My question is, since it doesn't hurt and there are no roots left to be infected or anything, can he wait until Monday, or should he go to an emergency dental place? Is there any harm to a broken tooth just hanging out until Monday? He'd much rather see our dentist than an unfamiliar emergency dentist.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Why do tooth problems requiring quick dental work seem to occur on Fridays or the weekend?
