Wow, sarameg, that's like a war story, for sure. Congratulations!

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
My current dilemma: Should I stay up past my bedtime to watch the Justified finale, or save it for later? I feel like if anything crazy happens, I'd definitely get spoiled tomorrow, but how much do I actually care about that/think it will happen? Hmmm.
Tough call. I don't know what to tell you.
But I think I am not going to go to the Specific Plan meeting tonight. It's been a long day and I want to watch Justified.
ETA also, I kind of want a drink, but my choices are pretty much gin or Jameson's and both of those seem wrong to pair with Justified.
Yay for getting to done, sarameg!
My house is too quiet. I think I need to figure out what my boy is up to.
So I'm just finishing Face Off and am going to bed. NO ONE TELL ME IF RAYLAN DIES.
Ahahah. Now on to the other big projects waylaid by this.
But seriously, just sent a well deserved mash note to my project lead. I'm amazed she pulled it off, because what she managed between teams is frankly unprecedented in my tenure.
Suffice to say that one guy's solution was to pull the document up on his laptop, then sign his name on a post-it and stick the post it on the screen, then use his phone to snap a picture of this and send it to me.
OMG BRENDA. I would have fallen down on the floor, laughing so hard.
Christ, and I thought selling real estate was hard electronically. That's amazing.
I accomplished a full-day fast (dinner to dinner, it's supposed to help my cholesterol) and now I'm waiting eagerly for my kale-mushroom-ricotta galette to come out of the oven. I don't usually get this inspired on weeknights, but I have been planning to make this dish for a while. Hope it turns out good!

I've been meaning to try doing that. Mui impressive Consuela
It wasn't that bad, but it definitely helped that I was pretty busy all day. I did cut out of the office half an hour early...
My SIL is doing this twice per week, because she's got a lot of cancer in her family and body fat is linked to that cancer. Me, I just want to keep my cholesterol and blood sugar down to reasonable levels.
Frankly, it seems easier than tracking calories and being obsessive about my food all week long. I'm sure there will be days that are harder than today was, though.
Did anyone else watch the Avengers cast on Jimmy Kimmel tonight?
